Transfer news: Uruguayan starlet dubbed 'Little Cavani' being watched by host of Juventus as well as Liverpool and Manchester City

Joaquin Ardaiz has been likened to Edison Cavani

Thursday, September 14, 2017

Juventus are keeping close tabs on the man dubbed 'Little Cavani', Joaquin Ardaiz, who has been linked with both Liverpool and Manchester City.

The 18-year-old is considered one of the most exciting talents in south American football and made the switch to Europe this summer when he joined Antwerp from Danubio in his homeland.

Both Liverpool and Manchester City are well aware of his promise and have been monitoring his progress, according to reports.

He has been compared to former Liverpool favourite Luis Suarez in the past but he picked up the nickname 'Little Cavani' in reference to his compatriot, Edison Cavani, currently excelling at Paris Saint-Germain.

Now, according to Calciomercato, Juve have been alerted to the teenage hotshot and are watching him closely in Belgium.

He is expected to make an impact at Antwerp over the course of the season and the Belgian club may need to brace themselves for offers in the summer if that is the case.
