Octopus and credit card payments will soon be accepted for Aberdeen Tunnel tolls

Hong Kong drivers will be able to use their Octopus or credit cards at a second road tunnel starting later this month. All manual toll booths at Aberdeen Tunnel will have card readers installed by September 24, according to the Transport Department. The tunnel links Happy Valley and Wong Chuk Hang on Hong Kong Island. The move will cut down the time drivers spend finding cash and paying the toll booth operator.
